From: "Vik" Subject: Where is my command line compiler? Date: Sat, 30 Mar 2002 00:50:58 -0800

Hello, Newbie here. I'm taking my first steps. I started out by installing the .Net framework download and using SharpDevelop as my IDE. I've only been little consolse apps and compiling using the command line. I just got and installed VS.NET and now the compiler is gone. SharpDevelop breaks when I try to compile something. I realize this must be because csc.exe is not in the "path" anymore. This is a slightly fuzzy concept for me. I'm sure there is a way to set it so I can access csc.exe from any location, I just don't know how its done in Windows2000. Thanks, Vik
